Research

My research mostly focuses on Machine Learning and High Performance Computing, their application in various domains, such as Image Processing or Computer Vision for Medical Images, even on Embedded Systems.

I also work in the domain of Cluster Computing, Grid Computing and Cloud Computing, most notably in Resource Management and Virtualization.

I participate as organizers and PC members of several international and national conferences: VIRT2020, IEEE CloudNet, PACLIC, IEEE KSE, ACM SoICT, IEEE MAPR, FAIR, VNICT, … I also peer-review in international and national journals: IEEE Access, Journal of Realtime Image Processing, Journal of Computer Science and Cybernetics, Scientific Reports, Journal of Science: Computer Science and Communication Engineering…
